Rasim Fakhry Franka was born in Tripoli in 1949. He was considered one of the most famous Libyan artists in the 1970s and continues to be well known today. Rasim began his artistic career through the program “The Corner of Amateurs”, which was operated and supervised by the artist Kazem Nadeem. This program was credited with discovering many artists for two decades.
His first song was “Mahyyraach Al Qalb” which met with wild success from the first day it was broadcasted and remains one of the important songs in Libyan music to this day.
