Mohamed Mesrati
Mesrati was born in Tripoli, however due to political activities, he and his parents had to leave the countr when he was a child. His works draw on the experience of being an émigré straddling the boundaries of culture Excerpts from his novel Mama Pizza have been published by Banipal- Magazine for Modern Arab Literature.
Mesrati also wrote an article for The Telegraph on the cost of Colonel Gadaffi’s dictatorship: My family and friends in Libya did not die in vain
