    Small town in Wadi’lhaya to the south at about 170kms from Sebha

    Known in ancient times as Garama, this city is now an archaeological site in Libya. It was once the capital of Garamantes kingdom and the Garamantes were a Beber people living in Fezzan in the north-eastern Sahara Desert.
